The possibility of Artificial Intelligence (AI) outperforming humans on a range of tasks might seem like the stuff science-fiction is made of, but the truth is it’s very real.
The rise of AI is growing much faster than people might expect. This is according to Chairman of the Red and Yellow Creative School of Business in Cape Town, Rob Stokes.
Stokes says the bigger issue of bots and automated software processes and artificial intelligence is an enormous trend that is going to impact our lives over the next 5-15 years.
“It’s going to infiltrate every element of our very existence. Every piece of our home, every piece of our car and what have you will become digitised with some artificial intelligence. I think for the most part is amazing for the human race but there are going to be societal consequences we will have to work through.”
